Incoming Student

Students may continue their education at our university during oneor both semesters within Farabi Exchange Protocols of Siirt University with other higher education institutions. Incoming students are required to meet following requirements.

1.    To be a registered undergraduate or graduate student of a university with an available protocol,

2.    A CGPA of at least 2.0 for undergraduates, ,

3.    A CGPA of at least 2.5 for graduates,

4.    Foreign language proficiency with a success grade of 60 minimum in the event that students apply to departments where partially or totally education is given in foreign language.

         Note:  In case of applications more than necessary, acceptance will be carried out considering the academic facilities of the relevant department.

    How to apply

·        Students apply to Farabi Coordinator of their current university. The relevant coordinatorship forwards required documents to our Coordinatorship. (Contact Farabi Coordinatorship for documents required.)  

·        Upon completing the documents and receiving approval in accordance with facilities, two copies of Letter of Acceptance are given to Farabi Coordinatorship, one of which is to be given to the student. 

·         Things to do before the completion of exchange mobility

·       Certificate of Attendance* :   Certificate of Attendance, to be issued by out institute containing the duration of education, is delivered to Farabi Coordinatorship of sending university. You may receive a copy you’re your sending Farabi Coordinatorship.

·       Final Report* :  Final Report refers to the document which contains summary of student activities and evaluations upon completion of education during the exchange.

* Note: Final Report should be delivered to the university where you are enrolled in at least 15 days prior to completion of your exchange mobility.
